In accordance with the Department of Health’s Infection Control training standards, you may be confident that our cleaners are implementing COVID-19 cleaning and disinfecting steps.
In order to keep cleaners and support workers, customers & their families as healthy as possible, effective hygiene steps are being taken.
Such initiatives include:
- In a client’s home, cleaners who are sick for whatever reason will not work.
- Prior to each job, cleaners wash their hands.
- On each job, cleaners wear new, non-porous gloves, which are taken home for disposal.
- At each job, cleaners wear face masks (as long as they are available).
- Cleaners and household members must remain at least 2.0 metres apart at all times.
- For each job, clean clothes and mops are used.
- Cloths used in toilets / bathrooms can not be used anywhere in the home.
- Used clothes and mops are sanitised each night using a Napisan-like substance.
- There will be no more than 2 Select Cleaning cleaners present at the home of a customer.
- All Authentic Life Care employees are vaccinated with Flu Shot Vaccine as recommended by NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
